This wild Lodge safari is a participation tour. This interaction is a great recipe for meeting other people and engaging with the local residents.
The legendary Kruger National Park in South Africa is the area with the greatest diversity of wildlife in Africa. Born as the Sabie Reserve in 1898 to protect the wildlife from over-hunting, the area was enlarged and proclaimed as the Kruger National Park in 1926. The Park today not only protects the wildlife but also the cultural history of the area through museums and the preservation of historical sites. One of the best ways to experience these historical sites is via the standard and superior accommodations in the area. Some of the lodges are very colonial and instantly draw you back to the past with their old world feel.
